Kenyon’s women are NCAA swimming champs … again

Last weekend, Kenyon’s women won the NCAA Division III swimming championship, the 22nd time in the 25-year history of the meet. Denison finished third in the 52-team event.

Kenyon’s Carla Ainsworth, who competed from 1992 to 1995, was named Division III Most Outstanding Swimmer as part of the celebration marking the NCAA’s 25th anniversary of women’s championships.

The Division III men’s meet comes this weekend at Oxford, Ohio, hosted by the College of Wooster. We’ll post these results, as well as those from the Division II meets, when they’re complete and available.
