NPR’s ‘From the Top’ Broadcasts From AICUO Member Denison University

This weekend, one of public radio’s most distinctive programs airs a performance recorded in November at AICUO member Denison University.

“From the Top,” a program that features young classical musicians from around the U.S., presents its 204th program from Swasey Chapel on the Denison campus. Hosted by the Boston-based pianist and producer Christopher O’Riley, this program presents a piano quartet, a violist, a violinist, a piano soloist, and a baritone — all, except for O’Riley himself in the piano quartet, age 20 or younger. All had also appeared on previous broadcasts.

“From the Top” appears on National Public Radio stations around the country, and on a handful of non-NPR stations (including Cleveland’s WCLV-FM). To find a station and when it broadcasts “From the Top,” head over to the National Public Radio station finder.
