Third Frontier is Good for Ohio

Last weekend, Inter-University Council President, Bruce Johnson (also a former state legislator and lieutenant governor/director of Ohio Dept. of Development) submitted an opinion piece to the Columbus Dispatch. In it, Johnson touted the importance and, more importantly, the success of the Third Frontier Program, created in 2002.

Johnson and others have been pushing for the Third Frontier renewal package (it expires in 2012) to be placed on the May 2010 ballot instead of saving it for the November ballot, where it would be over-shadowed by the gubernatorial race.

Please read Mr. Johnson's op-ed piece here.
