More Than 30 Expected to Pledge Citizenship during Naturalization Ceremony at The University of Findlay

AICUO would like to congratulate the 30+ individuals who will soon become US citizens. The United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, will hold a naturalization ceremony at The University of Findlay at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 19, in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex with the Honorable Mary Ann Whipple, U.S. bankruptcy judge, presiding. Approximately 35 individuals from 21 countries will become citizens.

Community members are welcome to attend at no cost.


Sarah Everly, a UF senior, will open and adjourn the court and Skylar Mettert, president of the UF Student Government Association, will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Janelle Limber, a UF senior, will sing the national anthem and Kara Wilkinson, also a senior, will sing America the Beautiful.


The Cory-Rawson High School band, under the direction of Wendi Bechtol-Davis, will provide music for the program.


Catherine Garcia-Feehan, Esq., law clerk to the Honorable Judge David A. Katz, will offer remarks.
