NAIA Soccer Tournament Includes Both Men's and Women's Teams at Rio Grande and UNOH

The National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics, the NCAA's competitor for small-college sports, opens its soccer tournaments this weekend, and two AICUO members — the University of Rio Grande and the University of Northwestern Ohio — qualified both their men's and women's teams for this postseason.

Rio Grande's men are the no. 1 seed in the entire NAIA tournament: they play their first-round game at home against Baker (Kans.) on Saturday. UNOH's men travel to Georgia-Gwinett (outside Atlanta) for a first-round match, also on Saturday. Subsequent rounds in the NAIA tourney take place starting Dec. 1 at Delray Beach, Fla.

In women's play, UNOH has home-field advantage, playing William Woods (Mo.), also on Saturday, while Rio Grande travels to Cumberland (Tenn.) for a first-round game. After the first-round is complete, the remaining women's teams travel to Orange Beach, Ala., for all remaining games, also beginning Dec. 1.
